Daddy & Luke Camping Trip

Luke enjoyed his very first overnight camping trip a few months back and I just found the pictures.  As you can see, they had a blast and can't wait to do it again once the weather warms up.  Since Luke is all about dressing up he had to wear all of his camo stuff to be an "army/camping man".

luke had his first soccer game today and he did SO good! I am so proud of my little soccer man. I was a little worried (shhhh) about how things would go, but he got right out there and chased the ball and played his little heart out. and, he especially liked the juice and snack after the game. we can't wait for next week!

sissy has a friend

he doesn't really have a choice in the matter. he was kind of born into the role of "best friend". but, he seems to be falling into this role quite well. he let sissy hold his hand...even after we caught her looking up at us with guilty eyes and his poor little fingers in her mouth. what a good sport.

olivia is 8 months old

please excuse the messy face and sleepy hair. she had just woken up from her nap and downed a jar of baby food. i already had things set up from doing a friend's pictures this morning so i decided to snap one of the little girl.

insomnia, perhaps?

there is something irresistible about a quiet house. i find myself stalling going to bed because i know it won't be long before the "night shift" begins and then we start all over tomorrow. so i am still up, sorting through pictures, editing here and there. but, at last, my eyes are burning and my body is telling me it's sleep time. so off i go. but, first here are a few more of sweet little 'livia.

and i promise i do cook, but nick is just the king at making one of our favorite dishes...sausage, peas, and rice...don't judge until you try it. apparently, luke likes it too. well, not really, but i think he thought nick was making beanie wienies.

i may need to hire rhonda as my "stylist" should i ever go back into biz. :)

he's here!

my nephew is finally here. all 9 pounds 7 ounces of him! he is just beautiful and has blue eyes and blonde hair. i am so glad he is here safe and sound. and, laurin did an awesome job, no anxiety attacks, no passing out, no retarded hands, no lying on the floor in the fetal position, and no emotional breakdowns. i must say, she shocked us all (including herself, i'm sure) with how gracefully she handled everything and i am so so proud of her.
